9-11 Album Cover

Foundation was founded in 1999 by The Hypnotist AKA Jon Murdock, Weapon X AKA Lex Starwind and Scientific AKA Ricky Fitz. They created the home spun, basement, underground grimy hiphop style that many know and love today. The group originated in Phoenixville, PA and released there first solo project on the street level in mid 2001 entitled “Call 9-11″. Their follow up group Album “Ground Zero” was released in 2003 with the help of Sagittarius of Zodiac Productions.

Since the release of Ground Zero, the group has consistently put out album of a higher and higher calibur. Jon Murdock has since released three solo albums. Dark City, City of Darkness, and The Book of Life. Lex Starwind released his first solo album, The Outlawstar late in 2007 and he is currently working on his second. Ricky Fitz has begun production on his solo album, “Fitz of Fury” but has no release date as of yet.    

Zeitgeist - Spirit of the Age

More recently, Lex Starwind and Jon Murdock have join the Lost Children of Babylon and are feature on their new album entitled Zeitgeist – The Spirit of The Age scheduled to be released in 2010. The album is to be released on Baby Grande Records. With their new afiliation with LCOB productions, foundation plans on re-releasing their most recent  works in an attempt to reach a wider audience. The Outlawstar, and both Dark City album shall be re-released through LCOB productions later in 2010. The albums will be available for purchase from Itunes and other select retailers.
