Rock out for the last days of Summer!
by Lex Starwind on Sep.05, 2011, under Music
What’s good y’all. Lex Starwind here. Summer is almost over. Ready to finish 2011 strong. The Flying Dutchmen is ready to be mixed. It should be out this Winter. I’m started production on Deep Space Rhyme. I’m hoping to have that finished by the Spring of 2012. For now I’ll have to hit y’all with some throwbacks. Most of these are scheduled to be release on an album called D.O.A (Dead on Arrival). The album is composed of tracks we recorded during the 9-ll, Ground Zero, Dark City Era. Tracks that didn’t make those album. We really have a lot of unreleased material and that seems like the best way to get it out. Check for that later this year. For now…
Watch Your StepA track from the Ground Zeros days. Recorded probably back around 2002/2003. Production by White Shadow. Nice shit. Check it out.
Acid FlowNice track from the Dark City era, around 2004/2005, featuring Ricky Fitz, Lex Starwind & Jon Murdock. Let me know what y’all think.
6 Different Eyes6 Different Eyes. I love the sample on the bridge and Fitz’ has the grimy-est flow on this one. Slang prostitution, whores and Jezebels. Ill shit right here. Check it out.
Vampire LoveVampire love. We cut this one back in 2006/2007 I think. I’m starting to lose track. Doesn’t matter. This one will be on DOA. Cheers.
Lex Starwind Over & Out.
Couple of gems for the fam!
by Lex Starwind on Jul.08, 2011, under Music
It’s been a while but I have to lace the fans with more gems from the fdation archives. We’ve been busy working on a lot of new shit, but with all the bootlegging on the Internet, we’re not letting anything go until it’s finished.
Spitting ImageNice solo off of Jon Murdock’s The Book of Life. Real militant sound for all my soldiers in the trenches.
Six Shooter LoveBanger off of The Outlawstar! Production by DJ SL. It got an experimental sound, with real abstract lyrics. Precursor to the Flying Dutchmen perhaps?
Stop Playin!Another one of The Outlawstar. This one features Sean Price. He was one of my favorite emcees when I was growing up, so it was a real milestone to do a track with him.
Raise UpThis was the first track off of Ground Zero. I especially like the sample played in the beginning and the end. It’s Heihachi Mishima from the Tekken Anime. Can you that was Starwind’s Idea.
From the Dark City Era! Classic Jon Murdock
by Lex Starwind on Jan.31, 2011, under Music
What’s really good y’all. It’s been a minute since I’ve hit y’all with some thing from the archive so here go a few joints from my man Jon Murdock.
Nice solo track from. I’ve always loved this one. Jeans had to match, Polo, low dome from Strawbridge. That’s that shit right there. Let me know what y’all think.
FlamesFlames. Self explanatory…………
HoffaThis one is called Hoffa, from the 9-11 era. Shit shit right here. All three verse are murderous.
Old School Classic Part 2
by Lex Starwind on Dec.21, 2010, under Music
What’s good y’all. Lex Starwind here with some more old school classics from Foundation.
This one is called Smiling Faces. We recorded this one at the end of the Ground Zero era. Solo track from myself. I sound young as shit, but I think the lyrics are still dope. Let me know what you think.
I don’t think this one ever had a real title. Another one from the Ground Zero era. Didn’t make it, so it will probably be featured on DOA. Check it out. Featuring Jon Murdock and Lex Starwind.
This is a collaboration bewteen myself, Lex Starwind, Copywrite, and my man Lord Willin, entitle Gods of The Booth. I was on some Asgard, God of War shit in my verse. Hotness.
Saving...
